Dee Dee Anderson is a Certified Nutritional Therapist Practitioner, Restorative Wellness Practitioner, GAPS Certified Practitioner, Gut Health Coach, Personal Trainer and Keynote Speaker practicing a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Holistic Nutritionist
Dee Dee Anderson began a career as a teacher after graduating from Southern California College and has been in the health fitness field for over 30 years. After taking a 30 year hiatus from teaching high school Health and PE she decided to go back to the classroom. "The biggest change I noticed were that my students had changed. Many were struggling with depression, anxiety and were extremely emotional. Several were on medications and what struck me most is that many were struggling with weight, especially the males in my class. Males typically carry less fat on their bodies and 30 years prior, the biggest struggle for my adolescent males was their struggle to gain weight. 30 years later, it is the opposite. Many are not only struggling with weight but with obesity”.
It was her students that motivated her to continue studies as a digestive health specialist with the Nutritional Therapy Association where she became a board certified Nutritional Therapist Practitioner. “I believe education is key to today’s epidemic of chronic illness”.
Dee Dee continued her education in gut health under Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride becoming a certified GAPS Practitioner and currently works with clients to find the barriers that are blocking the body from optimal digestive health and bringing gut flora back to normal.
